Olowookere wins QMA 2019

Adebukola Olowookere emerged the winner of the fourth edition of Queen Moremi Ajasoro Cultural and Leadership Pageant.

Adebukola Olowookere, who was evicted by the judges at the final stage of the competition, broke down in tears of excitement and joy as soon as she was announced the winner of the competition.

In her response on how she felt after her eviction she said, “I did not feel bad at all, because I knew I was lucky to be among the 31 finalists and I am so happy to be the winner.”

Winner: Olowookere Adebukola

First Runner up: Oyetayo Kofoworola

Second Runner up: Oladipupo Temitope

Adebukola, a young, vibrant and intelligent 19-year old, who narrowly escaped eviction at the final stage, defeated other 30 other finalists to clinch the crown

Adeyeye Ogunwusi, ooni of Ife, said the aim was to promote the Yoruba culture among the youth to prevent it from extinction.
