African Fashion Week London (AFWL) is showcasing the continent’s brightest fashion talent, and connecting designers with key players in the industry.
The event is happening at a time when African designs are increasingly being used by some of the world’s top labels.
“African fashion is like a new fashion revolution, you can’t ignore it, it’s everywhere if you go into the mainstream shops like Top Shop, River Island, Zara, most of their prints are inspired by Africa,” Ronke Ademiluyi, the founder of AFWL, said.
