The Moremi Olufunso Amosun Entrepreneurial Grant is an initiative of the Queen Moremi Ajasoro Initiative in conjunction with Her Excellency, Mama Moremi Olufunso Amosun as an extension of her philanthropy and goodliness with respect to female empowerment and wealth creation. A venture that has earned her relentless devotion and commitment over the years and has manifested in so many facets like the Moremi leadership and cultural pageant, Moremi The Musical, Moremi Publications, empowerment, workshops, conferences seminars e.t.c.
According To Princess Ronke Ademiluyi of QMA, our Royal Father, Kabiyesi Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 will mark his fifth anniversary on the throne of his forefathers on the 7th of December, 2020 and the Moremi Olufunso Amosun Entrepreneurial Grant (for One hundred women) has been listed as one of the activities to herald this royal occasion. Therein shall be monetary grants to Ile-Ife market women, Moremi Ajasoro Cultural Family, known as the Yekeres, and also grants to young women with viable and feasible proposals with adequate financials in categories of N100,000 (One hundred thousand naira), N50,000 (Fifty thousand naira) and N25,000 (Twenty-five thousand naira). This latter category has been limited to shortlisted awardees within Osun State axis for ease of operations and logistics, due to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the recent security challenges in the polity. Returnee victims of human trafficking will also be benefitting from this grant and the needed synergy and collaboration with the agencies involved are being put in place with respect to this.
